Healthfirst NJ Expands NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid Service Area Coverage in New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ, September 1, 2010 – Healthfirst Health Plan of New Jersey, Inc., (Healthfirst NJ) has expanded its NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid geographic coverage into additional areas in New Jersey where they will offer quality healthcare coverage to eligible children and families.
In continuing its mission to improve the health and well-being of underserved populations, Healthfirst NJ has added Morris, Somerset and Sussex to the list of counties they serve. Until recently, coverage was only available to people living in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties.
