Important News About Walgreens

At Healthfirst NJ, we work hard to make sure you get the medicines you need, when you need them. Express Scripts, the company who manages your pharmacy benefit on behalf of Healthfirst NJ, wants to tell you about an important upcoming change. Beginning January 1, 2012, Walgreens* will no longer be a part of the Healthfirst NJ pharmacy network. This also includes Walgreens’ affiliates, Duane Reade, Happy Harry’s and OptionCare.

If you get your prescription medicine at any of these pharmacies, you will need to move your prescriptions to a new pharmacy in the Healthfirst NJ network.

You can also find other network pharmacies online at www.healthfirstnj.org.  Just click on Member Services, then go to “Find a Pharmacy.”  For additional assistance, call Healthfirst NJ Member Services, Monday – Friday, 8am-6pm, at 1-888-464-4365 (TTY 1-800-852-7897).
